Joyce, thanks for organizing the event! The road was fine - it is after all mud season. :-) And we had AWD, so it was do-able. I'm not "up" on goose breeds, but check out some of the hatchery sites that have pics of different breeds and maybe you can figure out who's who!

Debra - I checked out that link, and it was pretty amusing. "... crawl under a rock" indeed! Glad I'm not the only one who think the doom-mongers are overdoing it. :-)

Sue put me onto your ducks. She is here giving Mom a perm. I've seen this breed before on farms but never knew what they were. They will keep your garden clean of bugs, etc. Jake will be earning his keep as your small farm continues to grow.

Thank you for taking as many ducks as your did. I have homes for most of those geese. Not all Toulouse I was told, some are Embden.
