Ewes

We only sell ewes that we would be happy to keep!  We are trimming back our flock as our land-clearing project is taking longer than we planned.  We are cutting back until we can support more sheep without having to resort to borrowing pasture as we have these past couple of years.  Our loss can be your gain!  Please contact us if you are interested in any of the ewes listed for sale.  We can hold a ewe for a few days until your deposit arrives.  Ewes may be reserved with a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the total price, with the balance due at pick-up. Refunds are only given if reserved ewes become unavailable for any reason, or you may choose to move your deposit to another ewe if one is available.  Deposits may be made by check or Paypal.

When you purchase from us, you are not just purchasing an animal.  Our foundation stock have come from some of the most respected breeders of Icelandics in the country, and we are doing our best to build on that legacy.  We only sell ewes that we would be happy to keep in our breeding program (but of course we can't keep them all!) We provide unlimited "technical support" before and after you take your sheep home.  All animals are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of sale.

Stefi is an excellent mother with good milk production.

 Beautiful ewe, tall, with a long soft fleece of many "colors".  Good conformation and friendly, curious disposition. This girl has "dairy character" and a beautiful udder with forward-pointing teats (easy for the lambs to find).  She proved an excellent mother at her first lambing this year, delivering without assistance and bonding well to both lambs.

Her fleece is very thick, and curly.  Her udder is nicely formed, with forward-pointing teats.  She is an excellent mother.
